Momma Osprey Feeding Her Chick*
The story, there were two chicks in the nest and papa had brought in a fish earlier. The other chick took the fish and took off to a nearby perch. This little one (pictured) attempted three times to find a fish in the lake, dive after dive, nothing.
Momma is watching this the whole time, finally she goes out and catches a fish for the hungry little one (seen here delivering the goods).
None of her babies will go hungry.
* At this point in their developement the chicks are known as fledges as they both can fly and hunt.
